Hila Laiser Beja // הילה ליזר בג'ה
Multidisciplinary artist , her practice leads her doing sculpture, video, drawing, painting, installation and collaborative performance. In the last few years, her works have explored the image of the ‘Home’ and its perception in the Israeli and international cultural contexts.
Her works deal with the place of the home as a domestic space in light of the national and symbolic home;
Hila creates environments, drawings and sculptures that are reminiscent of construction sites, deserted factories and army-camps, home facades that portray anonymous residents and former inhabitants, stressing the distinction between the public and the private, masculine and feminine, formalistic and physiological.
